Micro-Needling/Collagen Induction
PCI, known as percutaneous collagen induction, also known as CIT collagen induction therapy, equals the process of micro-needling. This process involves pricking the skin multiple times using a specially designed device with needles to induce regeneration, and promoting wound healing thus this affects the epidermis. Micro-injury to the keratinocytes promotes several epidermal growth factor which causes epidermal thickening and an increase of cell function. The effect by micro-needling increases the right ingredients into the fibroblast which keeps the skin young. By implementing the required nutrients, Vitamin A and C and Hyaluronic Acid, to increase the synthesis of collagen and elastin. The importance of these nutrients, by the channel of micro-needling to the depth that is needed, is to support the fibroblast, thus producing collagen. IPL
